Tableau in Confluence

Prerequisites

A subscription to Tableau Cloud or an account on Tableau Public.

• Tableau Cloud is where you share your private data with other logged in users

• Tableau Public is a free platform to explore, create and publicly share data visualizations online

To allow this app to work with Tableau Cloud, it may require some additional configuration.

Embed using the dashboard URL

1. Copy the embed URL from Tableau

2. Paste the URL into the Confluence editor
   If needed, change the width and height of the macro

3. Publish the Confluence page

Embed using the macro editor

1. Edit the Confluence page

2. Type /tableau and hit enter

3. Add the embed URL and if needed, change the width and height of the macro

4. Publish the Confluence page
